Western Australia Pickup Service

We now offer a dedicated pickup service for customers in Western Australia. Order day-old chicks online and collect them from three convenient WA locations — no air freight required. These locations are:

  • Midland: carpark of Midland McDonalds, 231 Great Eastern Hwy, Midland WA 6056. Afternoon the day after hatch day.
  • Byford: carpark of Byford McDonalds, Thomas Rd &, Kardan Blvd, Byford WA 6122. Afternoon/evening the day after hatch day.
  • Capel: carpark on Forrest Road next to the St John Divine Capel church, across from the post office. Morning two days after hatch day.

  • Hi-Production Australorp Hybrid — Excellent free-range layer with heritage Australorp genetics
  • Hi-Production Leghorn Hybrid — High-output commercial layer
  • Hi-Production Rhode Island Red Hybrid — Reliable dual-purpose commercial breed
  • ISA Brown Free Ranger — Industry-standard free-range layer

50-99 chicks $8.50 each

How It Works

  1. Browse Available Chicks

    View our WA Pickup collection for available breeds and hatch dates. All WA pickup products are clearly marked.

  2. Place Your Order Online

    Select your preferred breed and hatch date (note that depending on your pick-up location, hatch date may not be your pick-up date), then complete your purchase through our secure online store. Orders must be placed at least four weeks prior to the hatch date.

  3. Receive Pickup Details

    We'll confirm your pickup location, date and time at least 24 hours before your chicks are ready for collection. Please be flexible with your time, it's a big transport day and things don't always go exactly to plan.

  4. Collect Your Chicks

    Pick up your day-old chicks from the confirmed WA location. Please ensure you have your brooder prepared and ready at home before collection.

 

Important Information

  • Minimum order quantities apply, but discounts are available as your order size increases
  • Orders require a minimum four-week lead time
  • Hatch dates are subject to change — we will contact you if your order is affected
  • Please collect your chicks promptly at the arranged time for their health and wellbeing
